Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering AI enabled digital transformation initiatives that support government modernization programs, specifically focusing on enhancing citizen-experience digital platforms. As part of our team in DGE Office, you’ll work in an ONSITE environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to drive impactful change through innovative technology and effective program management.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical program management for AI-driven digital transformation projects aimed at modernizing government platforms for citizens.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements, track progress, and resolve challenges.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, project plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate program status, milestones, and outcomes with executive leadership, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards for government digital services.
Must have requirements
- Proven experience leading AI enabled digital transformation initiatives, ideally within public sector or government digital platforms.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale technology projects with a significant project budget.
- Deep understanding of citizen-experience digital platforms, their architecture, and user-centered design principles.
- Exceptional technical program management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Nice to have requirements
- Experience working with government modernization programs and familiarity with public sector procurement and compliance processes.
- Background in building or integrating AI-powered platforms for public use.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or related program management certifications.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
